My Story

How do you hope your art inspires others?

I believe it is important to bring awareness to others. People need to become aware of the abilities of ALL people. Not limited by their Disabilities. People have always seen me through the eyes of seeing my abilities, not your disability. I am aware of my disability that it opens my heart up to art even more. Too know how much I have accomplished so much in my life.

What is your proudest moment as an artist?

My proudest moment as an artist is that my Installation went all the way to Cork, Ireland but not me. I am proud that it made me an International Artist. I am very proud that I have become into my podcast and videos on youtube. I am proud to be me.

What inspires you? In art? In life?

As an artist and advocate I am learning to advocate for myself and through others who inspire me. I may have lots of interests from art to books, friends and family. My family history really inspires me to be me, while I am putting love in our hearts and healing through my own way. Here is one thing family taught me is that we should “Love one another” and always choose faith over fear. In art, there are many artists out there like me. One of them is my role model as he is an artist and makes his own music. I hope he can make the world shine with his music and enjoyment. While in art anything that comes to my mind, and the spark my eye, comes to me in a flash knowing what kind of art project is next.

How long have you been making art?

I’ve been an artist for more than 20 years of my life. I started ever since high school, when I was a senior my last year while I took ceramics and painting. While I continue art through different community colleges throughout california, and hope to finish college and graduate.

Who do you have to thank for becoming the artist you are?

By putting God first in your heart, let him help you with your prayers and continue to grow as an artist.  I like to thank my friends and family who already support me that already wear my shirts.

What is your favorite medium to work in?

I worked in clay, sculpture, watercolor, mix media and acrylic. Most of all I like working in acrylics and anything I can find or rummage around using in my art box.
